Two days before Christmas our furnace stopped putting out heat. I called Glanz & Buffat (our... regular service company) but they were swamped. As one could imagine with the frigid temps many others were in the same predicament as we were.I called other HVAC companies but it was the same- no one could come out until Tuesday the 27th. My husband was very sick with the flu and already freezing; I was very concerned with his comfort and recovery.My mom happened to have a technician’s private number - he was a Glanz & Buffat employee by the name of Kelly. It was a last ditch effort but I dialed Kelly’s number to see if he could help me. Well, Kelly not only talked me through it, told me what to do to get the heat going, but he checked back on us via text later that day and the next day. I am so grateful that he cared enough to give his best effort and advised us through a very difficult situation and even checked on us afterwards. Talk about going above and beyond! He has furthered our trust in Glanz & Buffat and we will continue on as loyal customers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Kelly!read more

Great company for all your needs. Service techs are the best! Keaton was the only one working... the holiday weekend and then a winter storm comes through. We are a home renovation company here in Louisville and have been using Glanz and Buffat as... our HVAC company for many years. They are fabulous!! They are customer focused and provided excellent service and equipment. Their extensive knowledge and experience with HVAC helps me feel relaxed and cared for --- a very valuable feeling! The installation and repair crews are top notch and attentive. The office staff is knowledgeable and ready to help. Our air conditioner has not worked since we moved into our apartment back in March of this... year and we have had several people/compaines over to look and fix duct work etc, but some were not very friendly or didn't do a good job (there was cardboard in the crawl space being used as duct work and our thermostat was the wrong kind for our type of unit😑) I only know this information because of Kelly from Glanz. He was very good. 5 stars for sure. He was very nice, helpful, and informative. He has been checking in on us since he left 2 days ago to make sure everything is still doing ok. Definitely best service guy we have met since living here. If we need service again in the future, I hope he is available. We need more people like Kelly in customer service. #KindKelly❤read more

I called in the morning, spoke with a person and someone came at a time that was convenient... for us. Best thing about the visit, we were not trying to be sold ANYTHING.Our existing HVAC was repaired then Sam & Lee provided instructions on how to keep our system working to keep our home cool.Thank you! They got us an appointment for the next day, showed up on time. (Which is rare these days) to... fix our A/C.Kelly was great to work with. He diagnosed the issue and made the repair. Knowledgeable, personable & efficient. We bought a maintenance agreement and will definitely be asking for Kelly to do the work.read more

Hi, I had a great experience with this company. I needed to replace a 20-year-old furnace and... water heater located in a tiny closet 😳. I had 4 bids, Glanz had much better prices, and they don't try to sell you a service or equipment that you don't need/want.They were kind, accommodating, and efficient. Called at 10am for no heat since yesterday. Got a 4 pm appointment. Called alter and offered... 12:30 instead! Very happy customer. Fixed up, cleaned up, heating back up and gone by 3pm. Great guys. Ladies at front desk also go out of their way. Cleaned up after themselves are are always kind and friendly. David was my service tech. He’s been to my home multiple times. Never cares that my house is a mess, always professional. Nicky is the lady at the front desk. She went out of her way to call the tech to see if he could come over while we were on the phone! All awesome. Will go out of my way to ask for David from now on!read more

I contracted Glanz Buffat to install a complete HVAC system for me including a York 2 stage... variable speed furnace and an York Affinity 2 stage A/C condenser along with a new line set from the furnace A coil to the condenser. I'm pretty particular when it comes to workmanship and I can't say how pleased I am with the skill level and quality that Bobby and his crew did on the job. They also completed the job in just one day. I am also very happy with the performance of the new York system. I can feel air movement through the house that I have never felt before and the temperature is more consistent throughout. I had several estimates and Glanz Buffat was the lowest but knowing what I know now I would select them even if they weren't because of the quality job they did. Jason, the owner who did the estimates, worked with me for several days answering questions and helping me decide on which system I really wanted. All in all a great experience. In the fall of 2019 I had a new heating/air system put in. I was very impressed by their... workers. They were professional and were here on time! About a month ago my hot water heater broke. I called 3 companies and decided to go with these guys again basically because they had been so professional before. Wow what a amazing job they did! It was a Friday and they rushed to my home to get it done so I wouldn't have to go a weekend with no hot water. The job was done and no mess was left. The following Thursday I realized the hot water heater was leaking. I called immediately and with-in a hour they were here. Richard looked the situation over and told me I had nothing to worry about the problem was totally their fault and I would have no additional expense. They would take care of everything and they did! The drywall was removed and replaced and painted! The flooring was also taken care of! I have been through nightmare's with another companies that I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to fix things that were their fault. I am beyond pleased with this company and highly recommend them. Jon is who oversaw all the work and he is one heck of a nice guy.read more

What a great company. Jon came and found the sewer problem with his camera,sent me a detailed... estimate and we agreed to the job. Jerry and Marty came and did the job,which was major in 2 and a half days and saved me money by a little extra work. All 3 were great guys,very honest and trustworthy. Came when they said and really took care with the mess. I'll never use anyone else. A side note: I'm a member of the American Legion and we share the parking lot with Glanz. They have helped us with problems in the past at no charge! You won't be sorry for choosing them. I think their rating speaks for itself and needs more stars. It’s really simple-if you have a huge project to get done(we did), these are your guys! Jon... was lead manager, very informative on regulations and what needed to be done! If you have a small job-they are still the ones to call!! But Jerry and Kelly were the guys in our house for the duration! They became family! We had other renovations to do, b/c why not. When you have to do the job that they needed to do, might as well do it all at once. Jerry and Kelly were so great! They would always clean up each day, knowing they were coming back the next! You can comfortably leave them in the house while you work! We did and had zero problem doing so. It took about five minutes to learn you could trust everyone in this company!If you want GREAT, QUALITY WORK, at a very fair and affordable price, call this company! Literally they beat every quote, and we are soooooo damn glad we chose them! I would recommend them 10/10 times to anyone!!Thanks again Glantz! You’re the best!!read more

We started out as Buffat Plumbing customers a number of years ago. They did prompt and... excellent work for us, so we have remained customers. I still remember when a Buffat service tech came the evening before Thanksgiving to fix our broken garbage disposal, without which our Thanksgiving dinner would have been drastically limited. In our current house, Glanz-Buffat installed a zoning system for our heat, which keeps the entire house at a comfortable temperature which we control in each of three zones. Most recently, our hot water heater broke unexpectedly. They had someone out to our house immediately. Richard, the tech, clearly explained both what had happened and our alternatives for fixing the problem. We decided to put in a tankless water heater, the newest technology, which will save significantly on our gas bill. Richard returned and was joined by two other Glanz-Buffat techs, and together the three of them installed the new heater within a matter of hours. We are extremely satisfied by the responsiveness, expertise and motivation of Glanz-Buffat to provide the best and fastest service in town. I strongly recommend them to anyone.read more

Great service. I had called 4 other places, 1 said he'd come and then didn't, 2 never returned... my calls, the 4th said they couldn't come for at least a week. Glanz Buffat answered my call with a real person instead of voice mail, scheduled a visit for the next morning, showed up on time, found the problem, fixed it and didn't try to up-sell me stuff I didn't need. I was so impressed I purchased a maintenance agreement. This is the first time I've had enough confidence in a company to do that. Very happy and I'll recommend them to my friends and neighbors.read more
