Two days before Christmas our furnace stopped putting out heat. I called Glanz & Buffat (our... regular service company) but they were swamped. As one could imagine with the frigid temps many others were in the same predicament as we were.I called other HVAC companies but it was the same- no one could come out until Tuesday the 27th. My husband was very sick with the flu and already freezing; I was very concerned with his comfort and recovery.My mom happened to have a technician’s private number - he was a Glanz & Buffat employee by the name of Kelly. It was a last ditch effort but I dialed Kelly’s number to see if he could help me. Well, Kelly not only talked me through it, told me what to do to get the heat going, but he checked back on us via text later that day and the next day. I am so grateful that he cared enough to give his best effort and advised us through a very difficult situation and even checked on us afterwards. Talk about going above and beyond! Our air conditioner has not worked since we moved into our apartment back in March of this... year and we have had several people/compaines over to look and fix duct work etc, but some were not very friendly or didn't do a good job (there was cardboard in the crawl space being used as duct work and our thermostat was the wrong kind for our type of unit😑) I only know this information because of Kelly from Glanz. He was very good. 5 stars for sure. He was very nice, helpful, and informative. He has been checking in on us since he left 2 days ago to make sure everything is still doing ok. I contracted Glanz Buffat to install a complete HVAC system for me including a York 2 stage... variable speed furnace and an York Affinity 2 stage A/C condenser along with a new line set from the furnace A coil to the condenser. I'm pretty particular when it comes to workmanship and I can't say how pleased I am with the skill level and quality that Bobby and his crew did on the job. They also completed the job in just one day. I am also very happy with the performance of the new York system. I can feel air movement through the house that I have never felt before and the temperature is more consistent throughout. I had several estimates and Glanz Buffat was the lowest but knowing what I know now I would select them even if they weren't because of the quality job they did. Jason, the owner who did the estimates, worked with me for several days answering questions and helping me decide on which system I really wanted. All in all a great experience. In the fall of 2019 I had a new heating/air system put in. I was very impressed by their... workers. They were professional and were here on time! About a month ago my hot water heater broke. I called 3 companies and decided to go with these guys again basically because they had been so professional before. Wow what a amazing job they did! It was a Friday and they rushed to my home to get it done so I wouldn't have to go a weekend with no hot water. The job was done and no mess was left. The following Thursday I realized the hot water heater was leaking. I called immediately and with-in a hour they were here. Richard looked the situation over and told me I had nothing to worry about the problem was totally their fault and I would have no additional expense. They would take care of everything and they did! The drywall was removed and replaced and painted! The flooring was also taken care of! I have been through nightmare's with another companies that I had to fight tooth and nail to get them to fix things that were their fault. I am beyond pleased with this company and highly recommend them. Jon is who oversaw all the work and he is one heck of a nice guy.read more

It’s really simple-if you have a huge project to get done(we did), these are your guys! Jon... was lead manager, very informative on regulations and what needed to be done! If you have a small job-they are still the ones to call!! But Jerry and Kelly were the guys in our house for the duration! They became family! We had other renovations to do, b/c why not. When you have to do the job that they needed to do, might as well do it all at once. Jerry and Kelly were so great! They would always clean up each day, knowing they were coming back the next! You can comfortably leave them in the house while you work! We did and had zero problem doing so. We started out as Buffat Plumbing customers a number of years ago. They did prompt and... excellent work for us, so we have remained customers. I still remember when a Buffat service tech came the evening before Thanksgiving to fix our broken garbage disposal, without which our Thanksgiving dinner would have been drastically limited. In our current house, Glanz-Buffat installed a zoning system for our heat, which keeps the entire house at a comfortable temperature which we control in each of three zones. Most recently, our hot water heater broke unexpectedly. They had someone out to our house immediately. Richard, the tech, clearly explained both what had happened and our alternatives for fixing the problem. We decided to put in a tankless water heater, the newest technology, which will save significantly on our gas bill. Richard returned and was joined by two other Glanz-Buffat techs, and together the three of them installed the new heater within a matter of hours. We are extremely satisfied by the responsiveness, expertise and motivation of Glanz-Buffat to provide the best and fastest service in town. I strongly recommend them to anyone.read more
