The water line from the meter to our house started leaking on a Saturday so we called 4... companies for bids to repair the problem. Since our house was 42 years old we decided to have the entire 80 foot water line replaced. The cost to have Glanz/Buffat was the lowest so we went with them. One of the bids was more than twice what theirs was. We needed to have it done quickly since our whole front yard was a soggy mess. Jon came out and gave us the cost on a Monday and said they could do it on Wednesday which was fine with us. Lee and Sam arrived in the morning with their trenching machine and dug the trench quickly and efficiently so our water was back on late that afternoon. Sam came back on Thursday to tie up a few loose ends to finish the job. The state inspector then arrived and said the job was very well done. A leak from my toilet spiraled into several issues, and Glanz/Buffat was instrumental in... taking care of me and getting it all fixed. I felt bad every time I had to call them with yet another issue or delay in the bathroom floor replacement (or when my sink's hot water stopped working at the same time), but they were responsive, quick, and willing to work with me. Kelly and Troy installed a new York high efficiency 2 stage air conditioner yesterday at my... home. They arrived on time, installed it in a timely manner and were very kind and courteous. I have had Glanz-Buffat do twice a year maintenance on my previous HVAC for the past 9 years. All of the technicians have been good and very nice. They wear shoe covers which I like. It’s cooling my home very well.Something that was awesome was that Troy noticed that my American flag was not in the holder that was attached to my wooden fence, because the screws had worked their way loose and it was about to fall off so I had taken the flag out, lest it fall on the ground. He offered to fix it and I gladly accepted! When they left, the flag was waving proudly. Thank you! What an appropriate story on Flag Day! 🇺🇸read more

Two days before Christmas our furnace stopped putting out heat. I called Glanz & Buffat (our... regular service company) but they were swamped. As one could imagine with the frigid temps many others were in the same predicament as we were.I called other HVAC companies but it was the same- no one could come out until Tuesday the 27th. My husband was very sick with the flu and already freezing; I was very concerned with his comfort and recovery.My mom happened to have a technician’s private number - he was a Glanz & Buffat employee by the name of Kelly. It was a last ditch effort but I dialed Kelly’s number to see if he could help me. Well, Kelly not only talked me through it, told me what to do to get the heat going, but he checked back on us via text later that day and the next day. I am so grateful that he cared enough to give his best effort and advised us through a very difficult situation and even checked on us afterwards. Talk about going above and beyond! Our air conditioner has not worked since we moved into our apartment back in March of this... year and we have had several people/compaines over to look and fix duct work etc, but some were not very friendly or didn't do a good job (there was cardboard in the crawl space being used as duct work and our thermostat was the wrong kind for our type of unit😑) I only know this information because of Kelly from Glanz. He was very good. 5 stars for sure. He was very nice, helpful, and informative. He has been checking in on us since he left 2 days ago to make sure everything is still doing ok. Definitely best service guy we have met since living here. If we need service again in the future, I hope he is available. We need more people like Kelly in customer service. #KindKelly❤read more

I called in the morning, spoke with a person and someone came at a time that was convenient... for us.
